for those of you who were not able to attend the cooking class that Fabio Viviani gave at Cafe Firenze in Moorpark today here is the recording we did. We live broadcast this class while it was happening but I know not everyone could make it so we also recorded it. Excuse my occasionally ridiculous camera work.

I liked the video, but the person typing thoughout it made it really distracting and annoying. SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS!
the reason that there is typing is because during the video we were broadcasting live and chatting with the viewers.

anyway, was wondering about what kind of sauce is good with gnocchi, cream sauce, marinara or either? thanks!
fabio answered this during the broadcast of the second class during the day. he likes simple sauce and served the gnocchi with marinara and some ricotta during the class. he serves it with pesto in the restaurant.
I enjoyed watching the video of your class and I am so happy you provided it online for those of us who could not attend. You have inspired me to make fresh pasta again – it has been a while. And I am going to make the gnocchi also. I made it once years ago for my Dad, because he said his Grandma used to make it for him. (They are Italian). I remember it being an ordeal, but you made it seem so easy. Looking forward to more classes – maybe in person next time. I live in Santa Barbara.
